Chanel and Dona Williams continued their winning ways in July and August gaining Chanel's grand championship in just 10 weeks. She also jumped to 6th place in the standings on the up-to-date Doggiestats site and added two group placements to her repertoire. WAY TO GO DONA AND CHANEL!!!
Also on 8/04/12 Plum became Ch. Deep River Visions of Sugar Plums with her 4th major. She is now at her new home with Ellen Russell and friends.
Also at the end of August in Atlanta, Gloria Markos-Krakow's tri puppy bitch Faith, Ceilidh's Keepin' the Faith at Truheart, (ScoutxKelleigh--see the Feb. blog) won 2 major reserves shown by Kilah, and WB and BOW for a 3pt major (a total of 4 pts.) at just 6 months old, shown by her ecstatic owner. What a way to start a show career. I will try to add a show picture when it arrives, but for now here is her puppy picture.

June Shows
In Early June Kathy Moll, Pam Brown and I reacquired the Scout daughter Deep River Visions of Sugar Plum from Suzy Roids in California. We sent her to Orlando for her first shows with us to get her used to showing inside on mats. In the west she had gained 1 major and 8 points all outside on grass. She aquitted herself well and was on her way to finishing her championship.

Kilah's girl Mist heated up the rings in April and May to minor out. In Biloxi at the first of June she garnered her two majors to finish her Championship. Kilah is so proud.

Dona Williams and Chanel started a specials partnership for the rest of the year, to obtain Chanel's Grand Championship and possibly get into the top ten Smooth Collies in the CCA Hawkins system for the year. Her first shows were in Biloxi where she went BOS every day. Then Ashville, Waynesville, Richmond, and Orlando. By the end of the month she was more than a third of her way to her Grand Championship.
